In 2011 the Foundation team create the first for Bulgaria hospital Program "ARTON" for art and recovery of patients with cancer. The conducting the program starts first in the Pediatric Clinic of Hematology and Oncology, University Hospital "St. Marina" - Varna. From April 1, 2014 the hospital Program "ARTON" is held in support of child patients and in the other two specialized clinics to treat children with oncology diseases in the country - in Sofia and Plovdiv. So Program "ARTON" for mental health of children with oncology diseases are conducted simultaneously at the Clinic of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the University Hospital "St. Marina "- Varna, at The Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Children with Cancer and Hematological Diseases - Sofia, and at the Clinic of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, University Hospital" St. George "- Plovdiv.
Program "ARTON" is a structured scheme of parallel service of art sessions to the patient with outside artists and psychotherapy with a clinical psychologist. The clinical psychologists conduct art therapy sessions with the patients and supervisions for education and training of workers in the art program. The basis of applied programs of the Foundation "ARTON Bulgaria" is the Art therapy. As a form of relaxing therapy it can exercise control over certain disease symptoms, emotions and other difficulties during the healing process, with the help of psychotherapy and art sessions.

The program is implemented through and under the supervision of clinical psychologists with long experience in oncology, with a number of specializations and certifications training. Main consultant and supervisor of the program "ARTON" is Ivayla Georgieva - certified trainer and consultant art - therapist, clinical psychologist.
Ivaila Georgieva is a clinical psychologist in SPECIALIZED HOSPITAL FOR ACTIVE TREATMENT OF CHILDREN WITH ONCOLOGY DISEASES - Sofia, onco psychologist with clinical practice and specialization in the field of child psycho oncology in France, Russia and Romania. From 2013 she is graduated Art consultant in the training program "Art therapy as a method in counseling, prevention and rehabilitation" of the Bulgarian Association of Art Therapy (BAAT). Member of the Society of Psychologists in Bulgaria (No.BG-RP-0999, ISCO-2634-6001-6002), Bulgarian Association of Psycho Oncology (BAPES) and the European Association Pancare. Ivaila Georgieva has 25 years of experience and expertise as a clinical psychologist at Children's Specialized Hospital for Diseases - Sofia, and is the main trainer in the team of foundation "ARTON Bulgaria". We have team of clinical psychologists with prepared program with art topics and target therapeutic guidelines for work in the clinical setting.
Training programs for specialists of the foundation constantly build new knowledge, practices and skills in the field of art therapy, general psychology and auto-training, mandatory for everyone, chooses the way of "assisting" professions. The certification seminars of the "ARTON Bulgaria" are part of a comprehensive program, building a team of elite professionals.
Program "ARTON" engage the patients in an organized schedule of various creative sessions. For the purposes of the program are appointed artists in different fields of the arts, passing mandatory supervisions with a clinical psychologist. The artists conducted art sessions with patients in a group, but also in the individual terms of the hospital room when the patient is unable to be present in the group. The art sessions are separated on the topics "Music", "Decoration and sculpture", "Fine Arts".
Foundation "ARTON Bulgaria" conducts the programs for mental health for patients with cancer highly professional, as the basic preparation, organization and realization of the activities make the qualified clinical psychologists.
